The National team of Soviet Union (USSR), that in the Helsinki, 1952 Olympic Games participated for the 1st time in the Games finishing at the 7th position. The USSR team: B. Gojkman, E. Semeneov, J. Teplov, V. Prokopov, L. Kokorin, A. Liferenko, P. Mshvieneradze, Y. Shljapin, B. Ushakov, A. Egorov, N. Prostiakov.
