Milan Muskatirovic, was born in Belgrade on 1934. He is considered as one of the best goalkeepers of the 60’s. He won the gold medal with Yugoslavia in Budapest 1958 European Championships; he participated in Rome, 1960 Olympics (4th) and won the silver in Tokyo 1964.On 1958 he moved to “Jadran Herzegnovi” and the back to his home team “Partizan, Belgrade”, winning on 1964 and 1966 the gold into the European Champions Cup. On 1959 he graduated from Belgrade University and then on 1965 he became professor of organic chemistry at Belgrade University. Among various distinctions he won the gold in Napoli, 1963 Mediterranean Games. Milan Muskatirovic has been succeeded in the Yugoslavian National team by another great goalie Carlo Stipanic.
