Ron Crawford was a member of
U.S. Water Polo teams in
1960, 1964 and 1968 Olympic Games. During that period, Crawford was regarded
as the best Water Polo player in the U.S. Crawford enrolled at California Long Beach State University after his first Olympic Games in Rome and was a
two-time All-American (1962, 1963). In addition to All-America and Olympic honours, Crawford was
a nine-time AAU All-America and two-times Pan American Games Participant.
Crawford was my High School water polo coach at Beverly Hills High and never really knew he was this great of a player. Wish I would of known then would of appreciated him even more.
