1903: The team of "Smethwick" - Warley's, UK

The Water Polo team of "Smethwick", Champions of the Midland League in 1903; (At the time called Birmingham and District League). The 1903 Champions (later called Warley) had dominated these early years having won the title 4 times in the first nine years.
Smethwick is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, in the West Midlands of England, adjacent to Birmingham and West Bromwich.
