1953: The pioneers of “Polisportiva Sori”, Italy

The first ever Water Polo team in Sori of Liguria, Italy under the name “Polisportiva Sori” in 1953. The team in 1956 has been renamed as “Rari Nantes Sori”. The pioneer players were: Castagnini, Angemi, Maggi, Agrifoglio, Bozzo, Avegno, Provetto, Cavassa, Fritz and Ricasso.
