Mexico, 1968 Olympic Games: The International referees Giovanni Parrini (Italy) and Alphonse Angella (France) bring forward the initiative to create the «Association Internationale des Arbitres de Water Polo – A.I.A.». Along with them, first members of the A.I.A.
