1920: Finals of the French Championship
In order to promote the diffusion of French Water Polo the finals of the 1920 National Championship were held in Mezin, a town of Lot-et-Garonne in southwester France. The team "Les Enfants de Neptune de Tourcoing" won the title competing against the team of "Libellule de Paris". The two teams have previously eliminated the teams of Bordeaux and Lyon.

Angel Sabata Figa (born March 28, 1911) was a legendary Spanish player of the 20's, 30's and 40's. Sabata was key player of the "Club Natacion Barcelona" and competed with the National team of Spain in the Amsterdam, 1928 and London 1948 Olympic Games.

Despite the effort of Otto Boros, Rosario Parmegiani scores with a penalty the golden 3rd goal of Italy. At the end of first half Hungary was leading with 3-2. With Parmegiani's goal in the second half, Italy tied Hungary 3-3 and won the gold medal in Rome, 1960 Olympic Games.
