The team of British army “Transport Section” winner of the Water Polo League held in Weihaiwei, China in 1927. Weihaiwei was leased by the United Kingdom from 1898 until October 1st, 1930. It was the summer station of the British naval China station, being one of two major ports for ships of the Royal Navy in the Far East (the other being Hong Kong in the south).Source: private collection
