National team of Australia that played against
France in the pool of Paris "Les Tourelles" in
1948. The
Australian team lost 8-5 against
France. Few weeks later, during the
London 1948 Olympics, the
Aussies at their first Olympic appearance were eliminated in the 1st round by loosing against
Italy and
Yugoslavia. The team of
