The National team of Australia that played against France in the pool of Paris "Les Tourelles" in 1948. The Australian team lost 8-5 against France. Few weeks later, during the London 1948 Olympics, the Aussies at their first Olympic appearance were eliminated in the 1st round by loosing against Italy and Yugoslavia.
